Los Angeles Breaks Conventions of Fashion Week

In the high vaulted room of the Taglyan Complex in Hollywood, with its gold ceiling and large chandeliers, Los Angeles Fashion Week kicked off with Art Hearts Fashion’s dazzling runway. The four day event hosted thirty of the most anticipated designers in the world, among them was Sue Wong, Project Ethos, Mister Tripple X, Tumbler and Tipsy, Nicole Miller, Hale Bob, Li Jon, Boy London, Sanyae Demure, Hallie Sara, Pedram Couture and many others.

The event was produced by Erik Rosete and Park Whitaker Productions and ran from March 9-12. Art Hearts sponsors for the event included the AIDS Healthcare Foundation and Stop-Attack. The event included children's fashion with Colin Egglesfield's clothing line Shout Out Clothing, and Isabella Couture which featured 50 Cent's son, Sire, on the runway. At just 2-years-old, he showed he had his dad’s swagger and has inherited 50’s stage presence already.

Although Paris and New York are the reigning champions of fashion week, Los Angeles is a wildcard risk taker that has no conventional method and continue to shock and surprise year after year.
