This past Saturday anyone who is someone in NYC migrated to Liberty State Park for the sixth-annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic! Just 2,000 feet away from the Statue of Liberty guests enjoyed bubbly with two very dapper hosts of the event: Matthew McConaughey (wearing fabulous three piece Dolce & Gabbana linen suit) and Nacho Figueras (a well known Argentine player of The Black Watch Polo Team also presenting the entire line of Polo Ralph Lauren Fragrances.)
Broadway star Norm Lewis sang the National Anthem and Dree Hemingway threw out the ceremonial toss-in. During half-time, Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves McConaughey went out onto the field for the stomping of the divots, a classic polo tradition!
Polo champion Nacho was injured from a match two weeks prior so his son Hilario played on team Black Watch and defeated team Nespresso.
Besides POLO,delicious Veuve Clicquot Champagne and a very prestigious guest list, outfits were very impressive!
