Thirteen time medal winner of the 50m freestyle and regular at shooting campaigns for the likes of Emporio Armani underwear and Parfum Acqua di Gio, it is no surprise that professional Italian swimmer Luca Dotto––referred to as the “swimming heartthrob”––is the new face of the French men’s skin care line: Biotherm Homme.

The brand uses aquatic ingredients in all of their products; a perfect fit for Dotto who noted, “every product is inspired by water, it is my entire world.” Luca will be representing Biotherm’s most popular product: the men’s moisturiser called Aquapower.

Operating since 1985, Biotherme Homme offers “products and solutions specifically tailored to men's skin needs”. As the new brand ambassador, 25 year old Luca felt drawn to the Biotherm for “the simplicity but also practicality of its products”.

While getting ready to compete in the upcoming Rio 2016 Olympics, Luca follows a strengthening regimen for swimming and for skincare. Aquapower “gives me an incredible feeling of strength on the skin” Luca said, admitting that he uses the product everyday.
