One for the Boys Charity Ball London Menswear Collection Spring Summer 2015

The One for the Boys charity ball was hosted by Samuel L. Jackson this year during the London Menswear Collection for Spring/Summer 2015. The fundraiser was held at the Natural History Museum and promoted awareness of male cancer. In addition to the ball, the event featured a catwalk with 65-year-old Jackson, and Brits Tom Hiddleston, Simon Pegg, Luke Evans and David Walliams as they modeled clothing from top designers such as Fendi and Alexander McQueen on the catwalk.

He was joined at the event by many other stars who upped the style stakes and showed up to support the campaign, including Colin Firth, Margot Robbie, Amanda Holden, Lewis Hamilton, Pixie Lott, Oliver Cheshire, Holly Valance with her husband Nick Candy, and David Gandy.

The One For The Boys mission is “to remove the myths and change the male mindset on prioritizing their health; educate men through campaigning, knowing what to look for and seek help when in doubt as early detection will help save lives.

“We want to shine a little blue to what seems to be a very pink world, in cancer campaigning.”

Hollywood star Samuel L. Jackson fronts the campaign, and encourages men to be responsible and get tested so that early treatment can be given.
