Celebrity Sightings Paris Haute Couture Week Autumn/Winter 2014-15
Hollywood actresses, fashionistas and other A-listers could be seen making their way around Paris for quite literally the fashion event of the season: Paris Fashion Week. This time around saw the shows of the most popular designers of haute couture, showcasing their designs for Autumn/Winter 2014-2015.
Uma Thurman cut a glamorous figure as she brought her daughter Maya Thurman-Hawke to the romantic city of light and they attended shows together.
Popular French actress Léa Seydoux, who was awarded the Palme d'Or prize at the Cannes Film Festival for French film Blue Is the Warmest Color and was nominated for a BAFTA Rising Star Award in 2014, also showed up to the events, sporting dramatic winged liner with the rest of her makeup remaining very natural.
British actress Gemma Arterton wowed the crowd in a strapless pink dress, while she rocked a wavy bob, smoky eyes and nude lips.
Also representing Britain was “It” girl Alexa Chung. When asked what was special about haute couture, she replied, “It’s completely unique and handmade to the customer and it's a playground for ideas because there’s no limit on anything and it’s very important.”
Actress Freida Pinto, 12 Years a Slave director Steve McQueen, and former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris Carine Roitfeld were also spotted arriving at the shows.
