Madame Tussauds Hollywood Grand Opening Party 2014

Madame Tussauds Hollywood Grand Opening Party 2014 was a red-carpet event that celebrated the grand opening of the Marvel Super Heroes 4D theatre, featuring amazingly lifelike wax figures of beloved Marvel characters.

Captain America, played by actor Chris Evans in the films of the same name, was at the main entrance where several celebrities including model Adrianne Curry enthusiastically posed with him.

Gary Cole, well known for his appearances in The Good Wife and True Blood, also attended the event. “They’re all actually pretty good,” he commented on the waxworks. “It’s kind of creepy because you think they’re real and you think they’re following you. I think Travolta’s in there, and I thought he was very good. They were all pretty spot-on and you had to keep checking behind you half the time.”

Actor Nathan Kress was also excited about the event. “I love Captain America. But even though he is underrated, I love Hawkeye, so I’m hoping he’ll be inside—he’s an Avenger, so as far as I’m concerned he should be, but having a picture next to the Hulk would be pretty cool too. Because he’s huge in the movies, but I don’t know what he looks like standing next to you, so I think that’s going to be very interesting,” he said.

Eric Valdez also gave his thoughts on the wax figures after posing next to Captain America. “I haven’t been in there and seen any yet, but Captain America over there is pretty awesome! It kind of freaked me out at first; I thought he was really here. But then I noticed he didn’t move and realized we’re in a wax museum after all,” he told Fashion One.
