Fresh Colors and Pop Art at Furla’s Handbag Presentation

We attended Furla's handbag presentation, as a part of Milan Fashion Week, to get some insight into the essential themes for the new season and talk with the CEO of one of the top luxury handbag manufacturers in the world.

The bags on show perfectly complemented the season's catwalk collections with new and returning styles in an array of bright vivid colors with pop art influences and bold paint splash graphics. The presentation included a first look at the newest versions of the popular 'candy' bag in an eye-catching and colourful display. The 100% Italian made products boast great design as well as quality manufacturing and have gained a reputation for their playful textures and detailing.

Fashion One spoke to Furla CEO Eraldo Poletto to get his own thoughts on the brand’s success and ability to maintain its relevance in the competitive fashion world. Mr Poletto emphasised the importance of maintaining customer satisfaction and keeping the brand 'product oriented' as well as his company’s ability to keep up with trends. In the age of social networking the direct connections of the digital world spread the trends lightning fast and also provides a platform for the customers tell them exactly what they want, and Furla is listening!

An innovative approach, exploring new avenues and experimenting with new materials combined with a love of art and fashion keeps Furla contemporary and the customers happy.
