Karl Lagerfeld Invites You to Dine in Style with his Brasserie Presentation for Chanel

Fashion One takes a look at the charming Chanel ready-to-wear presentation held at the specially constructed “Brasserie Gabrielle”, inside the Grand Palais, at Paris Fashion Week for autumn/winter 2015. Watch the VIPs and celebrities arrive at the venue and pose for the paparazzi. Guests included Kris Jenner, Miroslava Duma and Caroline de Maigret, while Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne modeled in the show, seated at the bar counter in stunning sheer black gowns.

We speak to some of the guests in attendance who give their thoughts on the show and the iconic brand. Ines de la Fressange is thrilled by the collection and pleased that Karl Lagerfeld honors tradition without conforming to convention. Lou Doillon described the show as modern and amusing, speaking enthusiastically about the colours and fabrics which included tweeds, quilting and houndstooth alongside subtle grey and maroon hues.

Loose sheer dresses and patterned dress coats were shown alongside rejuvenated classic twin sets and quilted puffer jackets. Amongst the accessories were gorgeous gloves, bows, tiny purses and playful silver plate clutch bags. Iconic designer Karl Lagerfeld talks to us about the key features of the garments including the apron skirts which he says work with any size and can be adjusted to give you enough room to eat the whole brasserie!
